Apologies for the lack of posts as of late, but lots has been going on in our small family.
First and foremost...LUCY IS 4 MONTHS OLD!!
She loves her daddy so much. This week she started to reach for and squeeze his beard. I'm guessing it feels pretty cool. Little lady is also teething, so she basically always has something in her mouth. Thumb, fist, Sophie the Giraffe (her current favourite toy almost tied with the awesome rattle her aunt and uncle and sweet cousin bought for her), soother or bottle. When she's not gnawing on something, she's speaking her own little language or giggling. She's such an easy going baby and we love her to pieces.
Did I mention she's 16.4 lbs now and has quite the impressive set of thunder thighs? We love, love, love her! Happy 4 month birthday Lucy-Loo. Birth was definitely worth it.
In other news: Kirsten had her Gallbladder removed AND her wisdom tooth out within a week of each other. Grandma Olsen came to stay with us for a few days while Kirsten was recovering to help out with Lucy as she wasn't allowed to lift anything heavier than 10 lbs. Lucy LOVED having Grandma visit.
It's been a month of tonnes of firsts for Lucy, surgery and family visits.
Until next time,
